Wintergreen Slopestyle
The Slopestyle is a trick contest for skiers and snowboarders in the terrain park on jumps, rails and boxes. The judging is based on style, difficulty of trick, difficulty of feature, creativity and consistency. Divisions are based on men, women, age and ability. WinterFest Weekend
A weekend for friends and family. Enjoy ski racing, a Lost & Found fashion show, and keep your eyes on the lookout for the Secret Skier. It's a carnival complete with your favorite carnival food. Come twilight join the Glow Stick Man in the parade of Glow Sticks. Blue Mountain Brewery will be on hand with delicious seasonal microbrews and all your regular favorites.

Presidents Day Weekend and Valentine's Day
It's a holiday - take the day off! Check out the President's Day Package with lodging and lifts at great savings - or rekindle the romance with our Romantic Getaway package - perfect for your Valentine. On Sunday, Late Night Thrills is back with the slopes open until midnight. . We will have a rail jam from 7-9 PM for skiers and snowboarders. Teens can hang out at The Dome with a party just for them. Again, late night snacking is best at The Edge and Pryors. Round out the weekend by testing the latest equipment with Freestyle's Demo Days.
On Valentine's Day, romance is not only in the air, it's on the slopes! Our Secret Skier will be all over the mountain with prizes just for you. Devils Grill and The Copper Mine will feature tempting menus with a romantic twist. Treat yourself and the one you love to some TLC at The Wintergarden Spa. End your day snuggling by a cozy fire.

Freestyle Double Cross
The Double Cross is a race where four competitors at a time race through a specially designed progression park, and first and second places advance to the next heat. Each heat is divided by age, gender, ski, and snowboard. There are prizes for the top three finishers in each group. For information, contact Ski Information Center at 434-325-2100.

USCSA Regional College Championships
College athletes from the mid Atlantic states compete for a chance to go to the national championships. This will be the first time the event has been hosted south of the Mason Dixon line. It should be an exciting race with the feaatured racea 700 vertical foot Giant Slalom race on Friday February 20. For information, contact Ski Information Center at 434-325-2100.

Wonderful Women's Weekend
Ladies, do you need a mid-winter refresher? Then this weekend is for you. It's a time for some spa (check out the Girlfriends Getaway package), some serious eating (we recommend Devils Grill or The Copper Mine), and of course, tons of fun. If skiing is your passion, you'll want to attend with Women's Clinic presented by our friends from HEAD. This clinic provides an opportunity to ski or ride with other women in a safe, supportive learning environment. Click here (pdf) for a full itenerary.
It's a weekend of fun and camaraderie with women who enjoy the outdoors and want to improve their skiing or riding. On-snow groups are divided by ability, off-snow the group is united by fun. You may also want to participate in the Wintergreen Slopestyle where you can compete with your best tricks in the terrain park.

Winter Lecture Series by The Wintergreen Nature Foundation
What Might the Future Hold? Meteorologist Jeff Halverson looks to the future and what we can learn from the 2008 hurricane season as he discusses tropical tempests, ocean temperature and global warming. W.P.I. Member Appreciation Weekend
It's Homecoming Weekend for our W.P.I. Members. Lots of activities and events are planned to bring members "home" to the resort, enjoy its many offerings and reconnect with others. Start with a pancake breakfast then work off those calories in some friendly ski and snowboard competitions. End the day with après ski parties and the kids have their own pizza party!
