Explore Wintergreen's 11,000 acres learning how to read maps, use a compass, plot courses, use a GPS and other practical mountain adventure skills.

Rocks!
Introduction to knot tying, bouldering, belaying, climbing safety and rock side picnicking. Adventure will include our climbing wall, The Plunge's rock face, and more.

Water Rodeo
Learn to snorkel with mask, fins and snorkel tube in the pool, then move down to Lake Monocan for canoeing instruction, followed by a Water Rodeo Competition.

Treehouse Registration Information
- All Treehouse programs require advance reservations. Please sign up early as programs fill up fast. Click here to download a registration card (pdf).
- Please call ahead if your child has special needs, in order for us to provide appropriate care.
- A credit card number will be needed to process reservations. 24-hour notice is required for cancellation without a penalty.
- A birth certificate and copy of your child’s immunization record is required for registration. (This is a Virginia State Law requirement.)
