Snowmaking weather returns Wednesday night into Thursday morning. When the cold air gets here, we will be concentrating our snowmaking efforts on opening The Highlands, Terrain Park, Tyro and Big Acorn for this coming weekend. Keep checking this report for updates. Bouncing back quickly after a thaw is something we do very well. Thanks to fully automated snowmaking, we can cover our open trails with a fresh layer of dry snow overnight. This is something our loyal customers know they can count on and often rave about.

Skiing and Riding: Today we have 9 slopes and trails open and 3 lifts. The Blue Ridge Express lift will not open on time this morning but should open later in the day. The Loggers Alley lift will operate until Blue Ridge is up and running. We will be open for skiing and riding from 9AM-10PM. The average snow base depth throughout the resort is 20”- 40”.

Tubing: The Plunge will be open today with sessions from 2PM -9PM. Buy tickets on the web ahead of time if you want to take advantage of this great winter activity. Tickets for tubing can be purchased over the web right now Click here. If you have trouble buying over the web, call us in the Ski Services Office at (434) 325-2100. Ridgely’s Fun Park will re-open Saturday and Sunday. Bring your little ones up here for some great family fun.
