14th Annual Vince Fiore Memorial Mardi Gras Celebration

Wintergreen Adaptive Skiing's annual fundraiser puts the fun in fundraising! It is a day and night of costumed foolery, starting on the slopes in the morning and winding up in the evening with their one and only Thrift Store Formal. During the day, we strut our stuff down the mountain with a costumed parade followed by gumbo for lunch. The afternoon is filled with tubing races and the wildly competitive, utterly silly Synchronized Ski Contest. That evening, dressed to the nines in our choicest thrift store finery, we convene at the Rockfish Valley VFD for the truly tasty Cajun Banquet followed by the Thrift Store Formal.

$130 minimum donation gets you a lift ticket, equipment rental, and all the fun activities of the day as well as the Cajun Dinner and Formal; $60 donation for the Dinner and Formal; and $25 donation for the Formal only. For information contact: 434.325.2007 or visit www.skiwas.org.
