Wintergreen Resort Kicks off the Season with
Holiday Home and Wine Tour
November 8 & 9, 2008

This holiday season Wintergreen Resort will bring new meaning to the phrase "Home for the Holidays" with its inaugural Holiday Home and Wine Tour on November 8 and 9th starting at 1:00 with doors closing at 4:00pm.

Wintergreen Resort's dramatic landscapes and picturesque Blue Ridge Mountain views provide a stunning backdrop to five beautifully decorated homes, including the grand finale at the nine-bedroom Blue Ridge Getaway.

Interior designers and artists from the region will transform each home with a holiday flair, based on creative themes indicative of the resort. The festivities culminate in the final home with tastings of Nelson County wines, appetizers and holiday music.

Admission is $35 for the general public ($30 for Wintergreen members and their guests). Continuous shuttle service is available from the Wintergreen Foundation and Wintergarden Spa and Aquatics Center parking lots at the resort. Thanksgiving on the Mountain

Ski Swap Day

The public is invited to Wintergreen Ski Patrol's Annual Ski Swap on the mountain. Buy or sell used skis, boots, snowboards and ski clothing in good condition.
