For Love of the Land Book Release!

The much awaited publication of For Love of the Land: A History of the Wintergreen Community by Mary Buford Hitz is finally here! Please join us at The Nature Foundation at Wintergreen's Trillium House on Sunday, May 29, from 1-4 pm for a Book Release Celebration!

The publication, sponsored by The Nature Foundation at Wintergreen, will make its debut at this celebration with the author and book Committee members in attendance. The project has taken three years to complete. Participants may purchase a first edition copy signed by the author and Committee members.

We all know we're not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but check out this beautiful cover!

"The dream of Wintergreen was sold before the amenities were in place. All of the effort of the highly competent planners, developers, sales and management staff, and original owner notwithstanding, all agree that, were it not for Wintergreen’s setting, there would have been no success," says Doug Coleman, Executive Director, The Nature Foundation at Wintergreen, on the inside cover of the book.

So come celebrate the release of the important book, and pick up a copy for your bookshelf or coffee table!
