Saturday is looking like it will be a great day on the slopes. Sunny skies, temps in the 40s - nothing could be finer! We still offer 100% of our terrain and a strong base of snow. The groomers will be out overnight sprucing up the slopes for your early arrival.
Apres Ski Music from 3-6 pm is provided by Greg Ward, a man of many talents, seasoned in reggae, roots and rock. Evening entertainment is the Karl Stoll Power Trio – three guys who have known each other most of their lives and get together now and then for the love of playing music – rockabilly, blues and rock & roll. Sandwiched in between is Silent Disco Dancing – great fun for all generations of music lovers and dancers.
Have a great evening!
True to form, March is coming in like a lion. It’s going to be damp today, but don’t let it dampen your spirits. The sun will shine on Saturday and lots of cold weather is in the forecast for next week. Remember, any day you can ski or snowboard is a great day – enjoy!
We’ll start the weekend with an exciting tasting and demonstration of Bananas Foster. Our chef will cook bananas in a bubbling sauce of brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon. The final flourish is to add rum, light the alcohol and caramelize the bananas. Dramatic and luscious.
Patty Reece will perform in The Edge this evening from 8-11 pm. From traditional back porch stompers to rollicking funk-fueled neon-splashed dancers, Patty lets loose, gracing every track with her vocal power and heart-felt storytelling.
Hungry? It’s prime rib night at The Copper Mine Bistro. Come early (it sells out), come hungry and leave happy. Speaking of happy, keep everyone smiling with Indoor S’mores only at The Edge and only on Friday. Don’t miss it.
On Saturday Wintergreen Adaptive Sports celebrates their awesome volunteers with a Mardi Gras thank you party. They’ll have synchronized skiing and riding, a parade strutting some fabulous costumes and more. Break out your mask and beads and join the celebration.
Stay tuned for more highlights and weekend tips.
