Wintergreen has the SNOWPOWER! Our powerful snowmaking system remains in full operation, and we will continue to make snow at every cold temperature opportunity that Mother Nature gives us. March maybe just around the corner, but our snowmakers are still making snow to give you the best possible skiing and riding conditions. We aren't giving up, and you shouldn't either. Make plans to come on up to beautiful Wintergreen Resort, and enjoy cranking out some turns on the slopes!

We are in the middle of the holiday weekend and we are enjoying amazing conditions and great weather. The temps will be in the low 40s today making for a fantastic day out on the slopes. We had great snowmaking temps overnight, allowing us to freshen up the slopes. Conditions don't get much better. See you on the slopes!

We have been enjoying some of the

Happy Valentine's Day. We hope everyone enjoys their day with that special someone. One of the best ways to spend your day is up on the mountain. We received about 5 inches of fresh snow yesterday and snowmaking temps have also returned. The slopes are in some of the best shape of the season. Today we have temps in the high 20s and blue skies.
Tubing tickets will be released today at 12pm for the upcoming holiday weekend. We will have tubing on Monday the 21st because it is a holiday.

A beautiful day up on the mountain. The slopes are in perfect conditions and we are skiing and riding 9a-5p. It's Super Bowl week and we have super conditions to match. Temps will be in the high 30s today with mainly sunny skies. The forecast for the rest of the week also looks great with sunshine and perfect temps. We are currently operating 5 lifts including Potato Patch, Blue Ridge Express, Highlands, and Big Acorn
We will continue to freshen up open slopes and continue to build the base, so that we can last well into March.
Lift ticket sales are currently limited in order to manage capacities and maximize your enjoyment on the slopes.
Lift tickets and rentals MUST be purchase online in advance to guarantee availability and your place on the snow. Browse and buy on our online store.
Tubing tickets are sold out for Saturday and Sunday sessions.

What a difference a day can make. We woke up to beautiful bluebird skies today. Snowmaking returned last night and we were able to refresh the slopes. Temps are in the high 20s today and conditions are great. It's just the start of what should be a amazing weekend. See you on the slopes!
Lift ticket sales may be limited to ensure a quality mountain experience. Due to anticipated high demand, especially during peak holiday periods, lift tickets and rentals must be purchased online in advance. In the event lift tickets sell out, guests will not be able to buy them in-resort at the ticket window. Wintergreen Club Members, Mission: Affordable season passes, Mission Four’dable quad pack tickets, Buddy Tickets purchased with the passholder present, resort lodging guests, and lift tickets bought as part of a ski and snowboard school package are guaranteed access.

It's finally Friday and that means the weekend is right around the corner. We started the week with some great news. Wintergreen will and his cousin Punxsutawney Phil saw their shadows, which means 6 more weeks of winter. We say bring it on and let's try to make it more than 6 weeks. After being so kind to us the past month, Mother Nature has provided us with some underdeveloped snow the past 2 days. The good news is we have a great base so it didn't effect us too much. The system is on the way out today and the cold returns this evening. We will be cranking up the snow guns again and refreshing the surface. The weekend weather looks amazing with cold temps and abundant sunshine. See you on the slopes!
This weekend Wintergreen Adaptive Sports (WAS) will host the 17th Annual Wounded Warriors Weekend. This year WAS will be assisting 12-15 wounded warriors and another 20-25 family members and caregivers. The event runs Feb 4th - 6th and includes a banquet, 2 full days of lessons, tubing, and lots of smiling faces. The entire Wintergreen community looks forward each year to honoring and welcoming these special members of the WAS family. The main goal of the weekend is to honor the sacrifices the warriors have made for our country, and to assist them using special training and equipment, so they can enjoy snowsports with their families. At the core of the WAS program is the all-volunteer staff, providing outdoor sports and recreational opportunities for persons with disabilities. WAS has decades of experience with both adults and children. Keep an eye out on the slopes this weekend for the brave men, women, and children participating in this incredible program and their instructors in the purple jackets. In addition to Wounded Warrior Weekend, WAS also sponsors a season long “Every Day is Armed Services Day” program. During the snowsports season, all military personnel injured during their military service, are invited to register for a free adaptive snow sports lesson, including ski or snowboard rentals, any day of the week. Many of the warrior weekend guests have gone through this program becoming frequent adaptive snowsports students, expanding their limits, and adopting a lifetime pursuit of recreation.
