SNOWPOWER is back in full force!. Snowmaking will continue as weather permits. Weekend conditions should be pristine and our crews will work round-the-clock to ensure a quality on-snow experience. Enjoy the snow in the crisp mountain air of the Blue Ridge Mountains! Check out the mountain cams to see all the snowy action.
Lift ticket sales may be limited to ensure a quality mountain experience. Due to anticipated high demand, especially during peak holiday periods, lift tickets and rentals must be purchased online in advance. In the event lift tickets sell out, guests will not be able to buy them in-resort at the ticket window. Wintergreen Club Members, Mission: Affordable season passes, Mission Four’dable quad pack tickets, Buddy Tickets purchased with the passholder present, resort lodging guests, and lift tickets bought as part of a ski and snowboard school package are guaranteed access.

Cold temps have returned to the area and SNOWPOWER has been switched back on. We will be refreshing open terrain and work on expanding to new terrain as temps allow. The skiing and snowboarding will be great this weekend with cold temps in the forecast. Winter is back!

What a beautiful morning on the mountain. We are enjoying some natural snow this morning and looking forward to perfect temps and sunshine in the forecast. Snowmaking resumed last night and was extremely productive. We were able to open Highlands for the first time this season this morning. Cold weather returned last night and the snowmaking team has been making snow since 5pm yesterday evening. We were able to reopen some more terrain today and the snow surface has a fresh layer of snow.

We have been dealing with some unfavorable temps but we are are still skiing and riding. Cold temps are on the horizon and as soon as we get them we will begin to refresh the slopes and begin to open more terrain.
