Designed with activities for all ages, our year-round kid vacation calendar includes family campfires and storytelling, holiday weekend events, games, activities and great winter sports.

Scavenger Hunt

Pick up a scavenger hunt at your leisure during the operational hours of the Discovery Ridge Adventure Center. Complete the scavenger hunt and return it to the Adventure Center. All hunts completed with accurate answers will be awarded fun prizes. Complimentary for registered resort guests and members only.

Geocaching

Use one of the Adventure packs to locate caches. Fun prizes awarded to groups that find all our Adventure caches. Beginners welcome and encouraged. Spring, Summer, Fall fun only.

Lawn Games

Staff's choice of lawn games to be set up from 11 am-4 pm weekends only. Come see what we've picked for the day: volleyball, badminton, ladder ball, washers, lawn bowling and more all in Ridgely's Fun Park. Weather dependent.

Ridgely's Fun Park

Families with small children can enjoy Ridgely's Fun Park year-round. In the summer, outdoor movies and lawn games are part of the fun, and in the winter, Ridgely's Fun Park turns into a winter wonderland. You'll find a mini-tubing carousel, bear paw snow shoes, tunnels, plus a gentle hill for tubing and sledding. Our mascot, Ridgely the Bear, makes frequent guest appearances.

The Treehouse

During the summer, The Treehouse childcare program features a variety of activities and fun each day including hiking, arts & crafts, swimming at Lake Monocan, trips to Discovery Ridge Adventure Center, and archery lessons. During the winter, the program includes skiing and snowboarding lessons!
