snowLICENSE®

We are not currently offering our snowLICENSE program. We hope to be able to offer this next season. 

What's the best thing about 5th and 6th grade? How about three FREE lift tickets at Wintergreen Resort! Designed to encourage all 5th and 6th graders to take the plunge and become skiers or snowboarders, this program makes it easy. Here's how it works:  

• Program is open to all currently enrolled 5th and 6th graders in VA, MD, DC, NC and WV 
• Purchase your Snow License online with $29 administrative fee; click on the Buy Now button below. Not available at lift ticket windows.
• Pick up snowLICENSE® (with 3 total visits) in Guest Services Office (mid-level Skyline Pavilion). Must bring report card as proof.
• Program runs January 3-February 28, 2022, valid times match Season Pass calendar. Sunday-Friday non-holiday, after 4 pm Saturdays and holiday Sundays (1/16, 2/20), and all day holiday Mondays (1/17, 2/21).
• No more than two snow license participants per adult.
• Rental equipment is available for $29 for the license holder. If renting equipment, helmet rental is free.
• Lessons are available based on availability through Snowsports.
• If you do decide to rent equipment, you will need to pre-register for rentals.
