Camp Wintergreen

Play, Learn, and Grow Together on the Mountain!

Camp Wintergreen is looking to another fun-filled summer from the middle of June through the middle of August. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to spring 2022.

The Treehouse Facility is now home to Camp Wintergreen for campers ages 5 to 12 years old. We will focus on different weekly themes to enlighten, engage and entertain each camper.
Camps are offered Monday-Friday, June 21st through August 13th. Drop off is between 8:30am and 9:00am, with pick up at 4:00pm. Every afternoon will be spent either swimming at the Aquatics and Fitness Center or at Lake Monocan.

Summer 2022 camp dates are currently in the process of being finalized. If you are interested in signing your child up for summer camp, please email [email protected] with Camp 2022 in the subject line. You will be added to our email list, to keep you up to date with the latest Camp 2022 announcements.

If you are interested in becoming a summer camp counselor, please email: [email protected] with a copy of your resume and “Camp 2022 Counselor” in the subject line.

** If your child is not an independent swimmer, please provide appropriate flotation devices for them to take to the pool.

Science Week:
Campers will focus on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) skills during our pre-planned activities. Camper will experiment, problem solve, and build using their own imagination and skills with the help of our fun counselors.

Culinary Week:
Our young chefs will focus on different countries to learn about their culinary cuisine and cultural differences. Each chef will be given their own apron on day 1 to decorate throughout the week. During this week, plan for your chef to prepare their own snacks, but don’t forget to pack a lunch!

Nature Week:
Our young explorers will explore the vast array of hiking trails at Wintergreen, listen to naturalists at The Nature Foundation of Wintergreen, and learn about recycling, reusing, and repurposing materials. We will learn about the natural history and environmental science of Wintergreen through hands-on activities and adventures around the resort.

Adventure Week:
Campers will experience different and unique challenges all week that will require them to use their critical thinking skills, rely on teamwork, and test their own physical and mental abilities.

Camp Wintergreen COVID-19 Policy

Updated June 21, 2021

  • Face Coverings: At the current time, Wintergreen team members and campers who are fully vaccinated are not required to wear masks while indoors. All other children or non-vaccinated individuals are required to wear a mask while indoors. Wintergreen will continue to monitor guidelines for COVID mitigation and will update our policies as needed.
