Last year marked the first phase of Wintergreen’s long-term snowmaking modernization with a $500,000 investment that transformed Upper Dobie and Central Mountain through the installation of 10 new TechnoAlpin TT10 fan guns, expanded snowmaking coverage, and significant infrastructure improvements. This summer, our focus shifts to Eagles Swoop, where we’re installing 14 new TechnoAlpin TT10 fan guns to expand tree line-to-tree line snowmaking coverage. The project also includes upgrades to our snowmaking communication network and ATASS control system, along with continued investments in mountain infrastructure and lift reliability. Together, these improvements will help us make snow more efficiently, open terrain faster, and provide an even better winter experience for our guests.
