8:30 pm Movie Under the Stars (Ridgely's Fun Park) Make it Dinner and pick up a pizza dinner at The Market. It’s a countdown to the live production of The Sound of Music starting September 5. Enjoy the film version! The Sound of Music (1965) Classic film version of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical in which a novice nun leaves her convent to accept a position as governess to a large family. Despite their initial misgivings, she wins over the seven children and their disciplinarian father by sharing her love of music, but their happiness is threatened by the Nazi invasion of Austria. The film won five Oscars.

Cabin Jam FAQ

Q. Will there be chairs?
A. There will be some seating available, but we recommend bringing your own blankets or small folding chairs (that fit on the chairlift) if you wish to sit during the music.

Q. What will you do in bad weather?
A. The music will continue to play as long as there is no lightning in the area. As of right now, the weather for Saturday is low 80’s and sunny, and high 70’s Sunday with scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon. The bands will be set up underneath a tent on a stage.  Checkerberry cabin and other F&B tents are available for shelter.

Q. Can I bring my dog?
A. Since the only mode of transportation to the event is using the lift, we suggest no pets.

Q. Is there handicap access?
A. Yes, for guests who are unable to load/unload our chairlift, we will have an on-call transportation bus available. We will not allow guests to drive their personal vehicles to the event venue.

Q. Are there bathrooms?
A. Guests will have access to Checkerberry cabin bathrooms and indoor facilities.

Q. Does it cost anything to see the bands?
A. The only access fee is the $5 fee to use the chairlift. Guests will pay for food and beverage items at bottom of chairlift/checkerberry. Cash and cards are accepted.

Q. Can I buy a Cabin Jam shirt?
 A. Yes- for $20, we will have Cabin Jam shirts available. Cash or card at our lift ticket sales tent.

Q. Can I just ride the lift and not get off at the bottom?
A. Yes, guests can simply ride the lift, but will still have to pay $5.

Q. Can my guest of member go with me?
A. Yes, but guests of members must still pay the $5 access fee. Resort guests and Members with valid ID get complimentary access to the chairlift.

Q. Does axe-throwing cost money?
A. No, this is a complimentary activity.
