7:00pm – 9:00pm Winter Lecture Series: Seeing Nature From Above – Remote Sensing Technology for Conservation Discover how scientists use satellite imagery and drone technology to better understand and protect our planet. Dr. Sapana Lohani, a Geospatial Environmental Scientist at William & Mary’s Institute for Integrative Conservation, will share her research on the Mekong River Basin, where she studied how rapid deforestation transformed the landscape across four countries. 12:00pm Ribs and Jibs Terrain Park Event: Wintergreen Resort presents its fifth annual Rail Jam event, Ribs and Jibs. Every year this event becomes bigger and better, competitors and tricks included! We have space for registration and awards, and great sponsors supplying cool prizes and raffle giveaways! As a competitor or spectator, this fun, action packed event is full of exciting moves that will keep you inspired for the season ahead.
All Participants will receive a T-Shirt at registration, Special Event Gift at Awards Ceremony, and Raffle Entries!

Practice runs: 10:45 AM to 12:30 PM, with Ski Patrol on site beginning at 10:45 AM.

2:00pm – 4:00pm Paint and Sip “Chicka Dee Dee Dee” – Crawford Room:   Join us in the Crawford Room in the Mountain Inn to learn how to paint this design in a step by step format, no experience necessary! Your ticket includes an 11×14 canvas and acrylic paint. Each class is taught by a professional artist that will guide you through various techniques at a comfortable pace.
