Summer isn’t over just yet! Join us Saturday, September 5, for Labor Day Cabin Jam at scenic Checkerberry Cabin and make the most of one more summer celebration in the mountains.

Your afternoon begins with a scenic chairlift ride down the Blue Ridge Express, followed by an afternoon filled with live music, mountain views, local vendors, family-friendly activities, and plenty of summer fun. Grab a cold drink, enjoy some cookout favorites, and settle in for an easygoing afternoon with friends and family.

The live music lineup features Kurt Crandall & True Story, Derrico Project, and Gypsy Town, bringing plenty of energy to the mountain throughout the afternoon. There’s also something for everyone to enjoy beyond the music, including the Wildlife Center of Virginia Animal Ambassador Program, a Kids Choice Craft Station, axe throwing, and local artisans and vendors.

Come hungry, too. Burgers, hot dogs, cold beer, and more will be available throughout the afternoon, making it easy to settle in and enjoy the celebration.

And the fun doesn’t have to end when the sun goes down. Keep the evening going with live music at The Edge from 8–11 PM.
