A Winter to Remember at Wintergreen Resort

As winter winds down on the mountain, we’re taking a moment to look back on what was truly an incredible ski and snowboard season at Wintergreen Resort.

While we originally hoped to get one more weekend on the slopes, Mother Nature had other plans. Even so, the 2025–2026 season gave us plenty to celebrate, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who made it such a memorable winter.

Memories on the Mountain

From the first turns of the season to the final laps, the mountain was filled with energy. Powder days, bluebird afternoons, and après gatherings with friends captured the essence of winter at Wintergreen. Families learned to ski together, friends reconnected on the chairlift, and countless memories were made along the way. Week after week, the mountain was alive with excitement, reminding us just how special winter in the Blue Ridge can be.

Thank You to Our Guests and Team

None of it would be possible without the people who make Wintergreen what it is. A heartfelt thank you goes out to our members, guests, season passholders, and the local community who spent their winter with us. We also want to recognize the incredible Wintergreen team members working behind the scenes and on the front lines — from snowmaking and grooming to lift operations, ski school, hospitality, and food & beverage. Their dedication helps make every run and every visit possible.

The Fun Isn’t Over

While the skis and snowboards are getting a well-earned rest, winter fun isn’t over yet. The Plunge Tubing Park will continue operating Friday through Sunday, with hours Friday 12 p.m.–4:30 p.m. and Saturday & Sunday 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m. It’s a perfect way to squeeze in a little more snow fun on the mountain.

Looking Ahead to Next Winter

Spring and summer at Wintergreen bring a whole new way to experience the Blue Ridge Mountains — from hiking scenic trails and teeing it up on the golf course to racquet sports, mountain views, and relaxing days around the resort. And yes, we’re already looking ahead to next winter: 2026–2027 season passes are on sale now through March 23, giving you the chance to secure another season of mountain memories.

Thank you again for being part of an unforgettable season. We can’t wait to see you back on the mountain soon!
