Let the Winter Fun Begin

Wintergreen is OPENING THE PLUNGE SNOW TUBING PARK this Friday and Saturday, December 8 -9. The Plunge is Virginia’s largest snow tubing park with a total vertical drop higher than a ten-story building and a length longer than three football fields. Tubers can reach speed up to 30mph! Advance online reservations are required and can be purchased at wintergreenresort.com. $44 per person. Tubers must be at least 6 years old and 42” tall. Future snow tubing operations will be announced next week.

Snowmaking Update – Many trails have a nice blanket of white coverage, however, there is still more needed to establish a solid base to get the trails groomed and open for the season. Our Snowmaking Team will preserve the piles made last week, and anxiously await a snow making opportunity next week.
