This July, the sounds of symphonies, chamber ensembles, and global rhythms will once again echo through the Blue Ridge Mountains as the Wintergreen Music Festival returns for its milestone 30th anniversary season. Running July 3–27, 2025, this beloved summer tradition has grown larger than ever, with record-breaking ticket sales and more ways to experience live music in one of Virginia’s most breathtaking natural settings.

Presented by Wintergreen Music, in partnership with Wintergreen Resort and other regional venues, the festival is a one-of-a-kind fusion of world-class artistry and Appalachian charm. Guests can look forward to a diverse lineup of performances—from awe-inspiring mountaintop orchestral concerts to intimate chamber evenings, creative cross-genre programs, and exciting special events.

Highlights of the 2025 Festival Season

Anchoring each weekend is the MountainTop Masterworks series, with the full Wintergreen Festival Orchestra led by guest conductors and Artistic Director Erin Freeman. On Festive Fridays, the atmosphere shifts into high gear with lively performances spanning jazz, funk, bluegrass, and world music—complete with professional sound design and unforgettable mountain vibes.

Midweek, the Fresh Perspectives and Mix, Mingle & Music series bring a more casual touch with relaxed concerts set in scenic locations across the mountain and valley, often paired with wine or craft cocktail experiences.
