Best Conditions of the Season Are Here and They’re Worth the Chill

Wintergreen’s resident groundhog has spoken… and he saw his shadow! That means 6+ more weeks of winter fun — and with conditions like this, we couldn’t be happier. The mountain is fully open with 100% terrain available, and the snow is absolutely incredible. Whether you’re skiing, snowboarding, or just soaking in the winter scenery, now is the perfect time to hit the slopes.

Our mountain operations team has been hard at work making snow, grooming trails, and keeping everything in top shape. Trails like Tyro and Cliffhanger are ready for your turns, under bright lights and patrolled by our trained Wintergreen Ski Patrol.

A Quick Safety Reminder:
We hope everyone can find time to enjoy the trail network in and around Wintergreen — just not on icy hiking trails. Sledding on the golf course, ski slopes, or skating on golf ponds is not allowed and can result in serious injury.
