Chairlift Sunset Sessions Returns – June 13

Chairlift Sunset Sessions returns on Saturday, June 13, bringing another season of live music, scenic chairlift rides, and unforgettable summer evenings to Wintergreen Resort.

This unique experience combines breathtaking Blue Ridge sunsets, a laid-back mountain atmosphere, and live music at Checkerberry Cabin. The season kicks off with Troutmouth, a Virginia-based band known for their authentic blend of punk, folk, and outlaw country.

Guests can ride the Blue Ridge Express chairlift down to the venue, gather around campfires, enjoy food and beverages, and take in an evening of live music surrounded by mountain scenery. Chairlift rides begin at 6:30 p.m., with music starting at 7:00 p.m.—the perfect way to spend a summer evening on the mountain.

July 4th Jubilee – Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday

The excitement continues over the July 4th holiday weekend as Wintergreen Resort celebrates America’s 250th birthday with the July 4th Jubilee.

Taking place on Saturday at the mountaintop, this all-day celebration features family-friendly activities, live music, scenic chairlift rides, great food and beverages, and festive fun for all ages. It’s a full day designed to bring people together in one of the most scenic settings in the Blue Ridge.

As evening approaches, guests will gather for Wintergreen’s spectacular fireworks display at 9:30 p.m., lighting up the night sky in honor of this historic milestone. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the nation’s birthday while creating lasting memories with family and friends.

Wintergreen Music Festival – July 2 to July 26

July also marks the return of the Wintergreen Music Festival, running from July 2 through July 26. Throughout the month, the mountain comes alive with extraordinary performances ranging from powerful orchestral concerts to intimate chamber music presentations.

Guests can also enjoy engaging coffee talks, special appearances by world-class musicians, and a variety of performances designed to inspire and connect through music.
